TRANS EUROPEAN FERRY TRIP

After many months of planning we have finalised our arrangments for our trip back from Slovenia to Ireland with a 15m Sinus. With indespensible help from Tine Tomazic from Pipistrel, Kevin Glynn (cheif pilot for the trip), a local flying instructor with a can do attitude regardless of the evidence, and experience of European flying and many others on the Flyer Forum we have planned two alternative routes back from Adjovscina, Slovenia. One route to the North is via Austria, Germany, Belgium, France, across the channel to the UK and over the Irish Sea to Ireland. The other route to the South takes us across Italy to Genoa, along the coast of Monaco, across the Southern end of the French Alps into the Rhone Valley, up thru France and into the UK and again over the Irish Sea to Ireland. We have been told that these are the cowards routes and that the brave route is straight across the Alps. We shall remain confirmed cowards then . With about fifteen hours of flying we are hoping to complete the trip in three days with the right weather but at this time of the year who knows!
